Overall responsibilities and duties:

The role of a Site HSES Coordinator is to guarantee, according to national legislation, the respect and the enforcement of the Group's HSES policy. In addition this role will support Arlington, TX Plant and Chattanooga, TN plant.
The main missions of the role are:
  • Analyze the site risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions, the level of industrial safety, and respect of the environment
  • Propose an annual HSES action plan to the site management
  • Coach and support the site management and employees on all safety activity
  • Participate in Faurecia's HSES network
  • Monitor legal compliance and manage the site's relations with local government and regulatory organizations
  • Monitor the reporting of HSES indicators (FR0t, environmental data, etc.)
  • Organize and drive HSES audits and trainings
  • Carry out accident enquiries, workmans comp claims, and investigations
  • Monitor compliance to Business Group Security Policy (premises, building and monolith security) per FSE-S-LSE-5212
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
  • Support in FES deployment plants, Plant improvement Plans and the production based system on 11 lean manufacturing principles to contribute to achieve operational business targets


  • Dual role supporting Chattanooga, TN. 25% of travel


The ideal candidate will have/be: a firm understanding of national environmental health and safety laws, be willing to stay current on all HSE policies and procedures and possess a general knowledge of automotive production plant technologies.
Minimum education level: Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a specialization in health, safety and environment/or 3 years experience.
  • Operation experience
  • Minimum 1 year working within a production environment

Skills and competencies:
  • Knowledge of HSE tools and methods AMDEC, 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18000, etc.
  • Knowledge of national HSE legislation
  • Fluent in English
